We are looking forward to a great time!

We have received a lot of super last minute requests to attend the reunion so you WILL be able to purchase tickets until Friday @ Noon! How? you say?! Thanks to technology we are able to wait till this last minute to accept payments and of course the more the merrier!

We will not be accepting payments at the event.  Because our committee was very small this year, we really don't have the manpower to "collect money" at the door.  So, you get one more chance to get your payment in ASAP!  We don't want you to miss out!

Cash bar! All you can eat Appetizers, Soda and Bottled Water will be on the house for those of us that don't drink.
(and Designated Drivers)

  

We will occupy 50% of the Restaurant!

We reserved the newly added upper level and balcony and the entire area below! 

Dress is Business Casual or Party Attire

2 PM - Until you just can go anymore!

Catered Picnic - Kegs - DJ - Dancing - Bon Fire - Smores Karaoke - Late Night Snacks - Lots of fun and Good Old Times! Bring a Blanket if you like!

We had a great time in High School.This will be a nice time to catch up with old friends.

BHS 1983 Classmates!

The time is very near for our 30 Year Class Reunion. (Aug. 9^th, 10^th). I must admit I’m excited to see everyone but a little scared too.  Scared you say?!  Well as of today, we have received enough replies to move forward with our reunion plans but more is merrier!!!

We have some payments but we still need lots more!!! 

Our extended deadline for Reunion Event Payment is set

August 7th

Make sure you get your payment in ASAP so we can make this reunion a special one!  If you have any questions feel free to send an email or send a FB message!! Payment must be sent via Paypal!!

Two-day event = $55 per person or $110 a couple
Saturday only event = $30 per person or $60 a couple
AND you get a commemorative Tshirt!

Friday, Aug. 9,  Bar Louie at The Promenade: Cash bar but free appetizers and soda/water (for Designated Drivers) and management is giving the Class of '83 at least 50% of the floor space.

Saturday, Aug. 10,  it's 83-a-PALOOZA at Eric Hill's property (Crest Hill) starting at 2 p.m. Catered Food-Tables-Chairs-Water-Kegs-Live Entertainment-DJ-Dancing-Beer-Bon Fire-Water-Food-Keg-Late Night Snacks-Water-Tents-Mud Frolicking.

Trying to get down to the business at hand

Student council, circa Fall 1982?

My, how times have changed. When we planned the 20th reunion we met monthly at a local spot for a year. Now we're meeting via conference call and Facebook.

We're rolling along but the skip down memory lane continues . . .

"Who was it that got in a fight with his wife at the 25th reunion?"

"That was Rich Casper, that was the 20th and that was not his wife."

Here's the details . . . 

$55 for Friday and Saturday.

Friday, Aug. 9 we're taking over Bar Louie at the Promenade/Bolingbrook starting at 6:30 p.m. until they kick us out. It's cash bar but you'll get fed and free soda pop/water for the DDs.

"Remember the inexperienced bartender at the 25th? She was serving bourbon in beer glasses. Everyone got so wasted."

Saturday, Aug. 10 it's 83-a-PALOOZA at Eric Hill's property (Crest Hill) starting at 2 p.m. Catered Food-Tables-Chairs-Water-Keg-Live Entertainment-DJ-Dancing-Beer-Bon Fire-Water-Food-Keg-Late Night Snacks-Water-Tents-Mud Frolicking.

* Feel free to bring extra beverages of your choice.
* Bring a bags set if you like; no hillbilly golf, no jarts because we're not responsible enough to play with those.
* Pitching a tent is not a bad idea. Think of it as a re-enactment weekend; instead of a Civil War battle we're re-enacting the 20th and 25th reunions.

To quote Lenny, "Hot Cheerleader pic, nice." Thanks Lenny, Katy and  Grace were 18ish then.

So we're sitting here at Bar Louie: Grace, Carol, Tony and David from the BHS Class of 1983 planning our 30th, yes 30th reunion. It's going to be Aug. 9 and 10.

Carol is partaking of some boneless wings.

Tony is sitting here drinking like it's the back roads.



David leans over to me and says "Did it get suddenly loud here in here."



Sigh, yes it did. We keep pretending we're not 48-ish. But sadly we are. In fact one of us is celebrating a 48th birthday next week.

The random thoughts are flying.

"No Tony, that is not Lenny drinking at the end of the bar."

"Were you at the back roads when the farmer came out said we had to clean up the area before the end of the night?"

"This martini is delicious."

"Really Mel Davis, MELVIN, is going to DJ?"

"We should do some trivia: 

'Who was it that started that walkout our senior year?'"

"We can get the band together."

"Miss, Blue Moon me again (for the 6th time)."

We're going to kick this into high gear because its going to take us a while to get started, we are 48ish. Except for Tony, he thinks he's still 18.
